The TePe Orthodontic Kit is an all in one solution for your orthodontic cleaning needs, handily presented in a single box. Wearing braces requires thorough, careful cleaning of both teeth, gums, and appliance. Finding the right set of products can be both difficult and time-consuming. To save you from the decision taking and make things easier, we have put together a kit with carefully selected products for brace care. The TePe Orthodontic kit contains: Toothbrush and Specialbrush: TePe Supreme™ compact toothbrush with bristles in two levels for improved access around brackets and under the wire. This design enables more efficient cleaning further in between the teeth and along the gum line. TePe Compact Tuft™, a speciality brush for precision cleaning around brackets and retainers. Perfect for cleaning your hard-to-reach places. Interdental cleaning: TePe Original Interdental brush allows you to safely remove plaque between your teeth and effectively clean under your orthodontic wire. TePe Angle™ Interdental brush has a long handle and an angled head for easier access between the back teeth – allows you to safely remove plaque between your teeth and effectively clean under your orthodontic wire. TePe EasyPick™, a conical toothpick for easy cleaning between teeth – also great for on-the-go cleaning. Orthodontic wax: TePe Orthodontic wax to avoid or relieve soreness. Also protects the tongue, lips and cheeks from trauma which can be caused by newly placed appliances and provides temporary protection against damaged or displaced wires until professional assistance is available. Good oral hygiene is even more important with orthodontics; plaque quickly builds up around the brackets, bands, and wires. Using a high-quality toothbrush designed for cleaning around orthodontics, brushes designed to clean the sides of the teeth easily and under the orthodontic wire and on-the-go cleaning options to help you never experience the “food between the brackets” situation, are great ways to maintain your dental health during orthodontics. This kit provides a great step towards successful orthodontic treatment outcomes. Depending on the type of braces, additional products might be needed.

They are all licensed and certified for sale in the UK, and do not contain bleach, so you can be sure that they are safe for you and your teeth.
Remove the retainer to clean your teeth. DO NOT use toothpaste to clean your retainer. It can roughen the retainer and make them change colour. You should gently clean the retainer with a toothbrush and cold water over the sink. Some patients choose to soak the retainers in a effervescent tablet to keep them looking fresh.
We say night time for a lifetime. They only way to ensure your teeth cannot move is to wear them on a part time basis for life. As a general rule you should wear your retainers every night for the first 12 months. You can then gradually reduce this down to a part time basis. If you stop wearing the retainers there will be some tooth movement. Changes in the position of your teeth can continue throughout life and are part of the normal aging process. Night Time for a lifetime will limit this.
You will not need to be seen as often while your retainers are in place. Under the NHS your orthodontist is responsible for a retention period of 12 months. After this period you will have to pay privately for continuing care or re-treatment.
Your teeth may move without the retainer so getting a replacement as quickly as possible is advisable. Order a new set from your digital finish models via the smile.network. If your teeth have moved considerably you will need to call the practice to arrange an appointment.
Everyone needs to wear a retainer after orthodontic treatment. Retainers are designed to keep your teeth straight and it is important you wear them as instructed.
You should wear your retainer as instructed. if this is full time for the first week then it should be only removed for eating, cleaning, swimming and contact sports. Do not click the retainer out with your tongue as this can cause it to break or become loose and less effective.
Orders placed before 3pm, where the items are in stock, will typically be delivered the next day. Our standard delivery charge is £4.99.
We offer free delivery when ordering retainers. Retainers are sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery for safe keeping.
When ordering retainers, please allow 3 working days for manufacture.
Delivery Terms
We want to make sure you receive your delivery safe and sound.
Please make sure that we have your correct delivery address and delivery instructions. If you are not available to receive your package yourself, we are happy to send the package to an alternative address or please ensure that our courier will be able to leave the box in a secure and safe place for you.
We cannot be held liable for late shipments but will always endeavour for your package to arrive on time and assist you with any queries and updates. Please let us know as soon as possible if you are experiencing a delay on the day your order is due.
You are responsible for making suitable arrangements to receive your delivery and giving us appropriate instructions.
In the event that your delivery is stolen from your doorstep or other place specified to us or damaged while there, we do not accept liability and will offer compensation only at our discretion.
If we are unable to deliver to you or for reasons beyond our control, for example adverse weather conditions, vehicle breakdown, traffic congestion or road works we cannot accept liability for any inconvenience or loss this causes.
We will not charge you for products that we have not delivered in accordance with these terms and conditions.
We are not obliged to accommodate late changes to your delivery address.
